CONCEPT Sub-Atmosphere The idea of creating multiple alcoves for meetings and community on a more personal level sums up the notion of communal points. This could be achieved by providing voids within mass so that people can move from a denser type of environment to a small open area to gather. This delivers a more intimate atmosphere within a formal setting. This allows each space to develop its own disposition yet still come together to make up a place as a whole. Each individual space seeks to create its own atmosphere while maintaining a connection to the a tmosphere of the overall complex.
Structural Concept: (project still in schematic phase) Eventually, to create a structural scheme that combines techniques and material to create something that is structuraly sound and speaks of the building's use because it is a multi-use building.
Environmental Concept: To create a building with maximum thermal comfort that brings filtered and diffused natural lighting to the artwork, and as much natural lighting deep inside the building as possible. To reduce daylight factor outside the glass by using overhangs, and to increase the daylight factor behind the glass inside the structure by using light shelfs and light scoops. This scheme will create a transparency to the building so that the glass will not be so reflective as we see in most applications. Doing this makes the outside become more interactive with the inside.

Sub-Atmosphere
The idea of creating multiple alcoves for meetings and community on a more personal
level sums up the notion of communal points. This could be achieved by providing voids
within mass so that people can move from a denser type of environment to a small open
area to gather. This delivers a more intimate atmosphere within a formal setting.
This allows each space to develop its own disposition yet still come together to make up
a place as a whole. Each individual space seeks to create its own atmosphere while maintaining
a connection to the a tmosphere of the overall complex.
